A brief history…
SIRAS PACIFIC is a company specialized in the design and implementation of projects for degraded sites rehabilitation and of erosion control.
Our experience of more than 30 years on all mines and quarries in New Caledonia allows us to offer our partners innovative and low-cost solutions which integrate local populations throughout the entire restoration process.
We develop the following areas of expertise in particular:
Use of bioengineering areas and small-scale civil engineering for erosion and sediment control.
- Complete mastering of the revegetation sector, enabling operations based on the use of native or endemic plant species:
- Collection, processing, and conservation of seeds.
- Creation and management of seed orchards.
- Production of plants intented for revegetation.
- Diagnosis of areas to be revegetated, selection of appropriate techniques, recommendations for hydroseeding mixtures.
- Identification, collection, propagation, and reintroduction of rare and endangered plant species (according to IUCN criteria).
- Research and implementation of innovative techniques.

Founding of SIRAS Pacifique company in Nouméa. First hydroseeding trials on SLN mining sites.

Acquisition of the company by the current Manager, Mr. Delrieu. Within ten years, the treated surfaces were multiplied by (growing from 5.5 ha to 50 ha).

Creation of an R&D department: Improving the performance of endemic plants used in revegetation.

Integration of civil engineering works in ecological restoration projects (such us gabions, wooden walls, …).

Diversification of activities: ecological engineering, outdoor landscaping, erosion control.

Installation in new premises specifically designed to meet our needs and activities, in particular seed management.
